Alongside Guenter Seidel (dressage), Tiana Coudray (eventing), and Andrea Fappani (reining), among others, Anne Kursinski was named one of America’s Favorite Equestrians for 2011.
Established by the EQUUS Foundation and the United States Equestrian Federation, America’s Favorite Equestrian recognizes the heroes in our equestrian sports and builds grassroots support within the equestrian community for the many worthy causes supported by The EQUUS Foundation. The EQUUS Foundation was established in August 2002 as a 501(c)(3) national charitable foundation and is dedicated to improving the quality of life for horses, promoting the use of horses to enrich the lives of those in need, and educating the public about the horse’s unique ability to empower, teach, and heal.
America’s Favorite Equestrians were selected by popular vote—athletes with the highest number of votes recorded in each of the eight disciplines on October 31, 2011, were named the winners in their respective disciplines.
You can meet Anne Kursinski at Equine Affaire, November 10 through 13 in West Springfield, Massachusetts.
