It’s that time of year again…the frosty, stick-season month when we load the horse trailer full of rather too many boxes of all our favorite horse books and head down the highway to EQUINE AFFAIRE, the nation’s premier equine expo held at the Eastern States Exposition in West Springfield, Massachusetts. We at TSB look forward to EA for so many reasons…first, we get to see YOU! We love visiting with customers, new and old, and continue the conversations and friendships that may have begun at shows past. We are always excited to share our newest books and videos with attendees–and we can’t wait to hear what you like, what you need, what you think we should publish in the years ahead.
It is also AMAZING to share space and time with our authors who hail from all over the world. Having an event like EQUINE AFFAIRE that brings many of them together in one location is awesome on so many levels. I mean, it is great for us to get to see them–our authors are our friends and family–but it is also so very cool to watch as EA attendees can learn from dozens of experts from so many different areas of the horse industry over four days. We geek out over the incredible opportunities there are to become conscientious and educated horse people.

PLUS (plus plus plus!!) We are excited to announce an EXCLUSIVE OPPORTUNITY at this year’s EA!
Every wonder what horses are saying to each other? What they are saying to you?
Find out with a FREE ANALYSIS of your herd or your own interactions with your horse!
This is a unique opportunity to sit down with Sharon Wilsie, founder of Horse Speak® and author of the new book ESSENTIAL HORSE SPEAK: CONTINUING THE CONVERSATION, and watch and learn as she breaks down and explains the language of horses and how we can better “hear” what they are saying and “talk back.”
SIGN UP HERE for your FREE 15-minute consultation ($100 value) on Friday, November 11, or Saturday, November 12, and submit your short video (no longer than three minutes) of your horse with other horses, or your horse with you. Then come the TSB booth (Remember: 840-841 in the Better Living Center!) for an eye-and-mind-opening learning experience as you view the video together and talk through the body language and behaviors that horses use to communicate with us on a daily basis and see how even ordinary, everyday interactions are important and meaningful.
Horse Speak® is not a training method and is not intended to replace the training techniques you may already use. It is a way to understand horses from their perspective and use gestures, postures, and signals to have “conversations” with them. It is a means of learning the language of all horses so that you can better understand them and enhance your time together, whatever your equestrian interests or goals. It is a way to make horses’ lives happier and healthier, and your experiences with them more successful and fulfilling.
We can’t WAIT to see you all next week at EQUINE AFFAIRE Massachusetts!
